Tennessee parents are voicing their concerns about a middle school history assignment in which students were asked to write “Allah is the only God.”
Brandee Porterfield joined “Fox and Friends” this morning, saying she has no problem with her seventh-grade daughter learning about Islam as part of world history, but believes time should also be devoted to Christianity.
“They did this assignment where they wrote out the Five Pillars of Islam, including having the children learn and write the Shahada, which is the Islamic conversion creed,” she explained.
An innocent man was left traumatised after police raided his home after they suspected him of downloading indecent images of children.
But the person viewing the sick images was in fact his neighbour, Martin Cane, who had ‘hijacked’ the computer for his own benefit.
The 35-year-old had managed to gain access to his neighbour’s Internet by using old passwords he had found online.
As a result, police raided the wrong house, turning it upside down during the search.
Glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup and other herbicides, will be labeled as cancer-causing, California’s environmental agency said.
The California Environmental Protection Agency announced in an official “notice of intent” that the chemical will be considered as “known to cause cancer.” The notice comes after the World Health Organization linked glyphosate to cancer in humans and to the sudden global decline in the number of Monarch butterflies; a recent scientific study suggested long-term exposure to small amounts of glyphosate can lead to liver and kidney problems.

Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson jabbed Tuesday at front-runner Donald Trump’s proposal to deport everyone who is in the country illegally, calling the plan impractical.
“People who say that have no idea what that would entail” legally and otherwise, Carson said, adding: “Where you going to send them?”
