Lucifer, Satan, is a big problem in the world today, but who or what is this entity? Find out the truth in this episode. We also discuss hypocrisy and “fake Christians”, as well.
The following are the show notes used to record this episode. THey are here for your reference and convenience.
News:
As the disease spreads, experts will debate how we respond and what to do about the anti-vaccine movement that’s partly to blame for this mess. Likely, all we’ll agree on is better outreach to parents.
That’s not enough. Parents who do not vaccinate their children should go to jail.
Folks, you can see right here, this is where they are taking us. This is what it is ALL about.
The Ebola thing? Didn’t get a foothold, people did not get it enough so there was not much outcry..
At Fox and Fox News, 10 percent of the claims we’ve rated have been True, 11 percent Mostly True, 18 percent Half True, 21 percent Mostly False, 31 percent False and nine percent Pants on Fire.
That means about 60 percent of the claims we’ve checked have been rated Mostly False or worse. Here’s how it breaks down (as of Jan. 27, 2015):
Listen, guys… Get this clear in your heads.
I have said this more than once, and I really hope people listen one day.
Most people who read this might have a hard time fathoming how an entire nation could be so well deceived, but it’s really not that hard when you understand the inner workings and hierarchy of an overly revered media in which we place our blind trust.
Many have realized long ago that our politicians will lie to us at the drop of a hat, but most have no clue that our news media lies and deceives us just as much, if not more so.
Consider this quote from John Swinton, former Chief of Staff for the New York Times in an address to the New York Press club.
“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes.” John Swinton, former Chief of Staff, The New York Times.
The only thing I’ll disagree with there is that there IS such a thing as independent press, when you take money out of the equation.
My show? There’s no monetary objective with it. We’re listener supported, but we’re still here, regardless.
The LNM network? Listener supported.
We don’t bow to the corporate state.
The rest?
It’s all about the propaganda.
ALL lies and smoke and mirrors.
Speaking of propaganda…
Anti-Syriza Propaganda Begins: Greece Framed as ‘Emerging Hub for Terrorists
So the Greeks vote in an anti capitalist green government and on the same day CNN decide to declare Greece might be an emerging terrorist state.
According to CNN, “there may be some 200 people in the country with links to jihadist groups such as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or the al Nusra Front“
Furthermore, “One analyst who has studied jihadist travel patterns says there are indications that militants are setting up logistical, recruitment and financial cells in Greece”
Roughly 1500 kids are tied up or locked down every day by school officials in the United States.
At least 500 students are locked up in some form of solitary confinement every day, whether it be a padded room, a closet or a duffel bag. In many cases, parents are rarely notified when such methods are used.
On any given day when school is in session, kids who “act up” in class are pinned facedown on the floor, locked in dark closets, tied up with straps, bungee cords and duct tape, handcuffed, leg shackled, tasered or otherwise restrained, immobilized or placed in solitary confinement in order to bring them under “control.”
Show Notes:
I do, however, have a lot of friends that are religious, and I am exposed to some of the nuttiness that goes on, some of the funny mentalism of fundamentalists.
Recently, in Lake Worth, Florida, the city council got together for their meeting and, before the meeting began, did, what some are calling an Invocation to Satan.
Let me play you the recording of it.
Now, some of the responses that I have heard and seen to this are things like, quoting without names to protect the ignorant…
Someone should punch this jerk out in the parking lot! More than happy to help. What a bag of garbage (that includes the fools who stuck around for this mockery)! You can bet if he trashed the US military they would have ALL walked out. Soldiers, sailors, marines and airman don’t take insults well (what a shock!). On the other hand, our side puts up with too much and the opposition knows it. We’re far too peaceful-like a negligent parent. Christianity needs to get some teeth. Fast.Best thing in the world for bullies is a person who will fight back. They never expect it-slobs like this are counting on indifference. Let’s surprise them next time!
This guy should be dragged by a truck till he’s dead we have to start standing up and make them notice that if they want to pray to Allah a satanic cult and all others go some where your not herd I’m getting sick over this shit these people make us all sick but they are mental cases they don’t belong in a govt. meeting just take them tom the wood shed then let them go to the Middle East and let’s watch how that works for them sorry to be so hatefull with these cult leaders but you tell me what they deserve NOTHING they will defently pay a big price they are worthless scum
This is what you get when you vote. What an arrogant bag of wind. Go away whoever you are. The bigger they are the harder they will fall. Your day is coming.
He needs some sense beaten into him before being put in federal prison for a few years. Freedom of speech is one thing but shouldn’t be abused by the likes of this idiot. If someone doesn’t like what this country was founded on, they should leave. I suggest Syria or Iran.
They should have kicked him out of the council meeting instead walking out of it. Freedom of Speech does not mean that he can slander religious freedom nor does it mean that he can make a mockery out of religion.
And may Preston Smith be plagued with the insects of a thousand years and lay before satan as one of his bed sores.
The council meeting should have open with first: the pledge of Pledge of Allegiance including “under God”
Oh, you mean the phrase that was added into the pledfge of allegiance in 1954 as a propaganda technique to fight the commies?
I think you get the idea.
The saddest part of all of this to me is, well aside from the people saying those things having no clue about what their religion is all about (which i will get to), is that the sites that these stories are posted on go by names like, “Eagle Rising,” “Sons of Liberty,” “Freedom Outpost.”
Oh my dear Lord save us from the hypocrisy of your followers.
You can’t remove free speech without removing it from yourself, as well. Free speech is not just about you and your christian beliefs. It is about EVERYTHING. Nothing is “sacred” because no one believes the same way.
You might have similar stances or ideologies to someone else, but they are ALWAYS going to differ, even in the slightest.
Remove the ability for one to speak their mind, you remove the rights of all to speak their mind. You become the tyrant that you claim “atheists” want to be.
It is hypocrisy at its finest, people.
As to the overall opinions I hold regarding the content of the “replies” to this “invocation”?
What wonderful examples of fine christian voices you people are.
Where, in the bible, in any of the teachings that Christ did, was him talking to someone like that?
Where, in any of the texts that have been handed down do you see Christ saying to the idolators and whores, “You should be dragged out of here by a bus”?
I believe it was John 8:7 that Jesus said, “May anyone speaking out against God be plagued with the insects of a thousand years and lay before Satan as one of his bed sores.”
Oh, shoot, sorry. I got that quote slightly wrong.
It was “Let any one of you who is without sin throw the first stone!”
I always get the two phrasings mixed up. They are just so darn similar!
Why could Jesus not talk clearer?
Seriously, people. If your master would never do such a thing, why do you tnink you have the temerity to do it yourself?
If that was something that he would never do, and in fact, ALWAYS DID THE OPPOSITE, would you say that you are one of those people that HE HIMSELF said, 20“So then, you will know them by their fruits.
21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’
23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
You know, the only time Jesus ever got ticked off in the bible and went off on a Rambo was against moneychangers being in the temple, right?
He was mad about money being involved in the church.
And yet, what do we see, especially here in ameerica?
Money in the church, in every way that it can be. It is ALL about cash to these people.
Take a look at some of the mega-churches out there. Some of them have more cash inflow coming into them than small towns.
But, no, atheists, agnostics and just plain don’t care-ists are the real problem, right?
Those are the ones that you should be worried about, right?
Not the cancer eating your church from the inside out and rotting it through the core.
No. Not that. Ignore that stain. It doesn’t matter.
As to the Invocation itself, you.. DO realize that it’s satire, right?
You DO realize that it was done as a joke, right?
The whole thing. Every bit of it. It was all done as a jab at people just like the repliers. The people who get on their high horses and spew out their venom over every little thing they THINK is an offense.
If you took that speech that was given by that guy seriously, if you REALLY think that any sort of religious significance was attached to it, you really need to have your head examined.
It was OBVIOUS that it was a jab.
Ugh. People. Get a life and go to your church and figure out what it is that your master was really trying to teach you.
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
Isaiah 14:12
When people think of the word Lucifer, some things immediately come to mind, whether you are religious or non-religious.
Most people, especially of the religious bent, think of an entity…
equated with Satan
Is the devil
Is an angel of light
Is able to deceive people by appearing as a good guy…
It seems that almost everyone equates Satan and Lucifer together. You hear the terms “satanic, Luciferian agenda” or, simply, Luciferian agenda.
You hear that the Illuminati worship Lucifer, hence, the name illuminated ones and such.
A demon, an antichrist figure, a dark overlord come to bring us into the realms of sin and death and destruction!
But, is that the case?
Or are we dealing with a misunderstood entity, one that has gotten a bbad rep, per se, by hanging with the bad kids on the wrong side of the tracks?
In fact, the truth of things is much, much, different than you may know.
Ready to hear it?
Here goes…
There’s no such thing as an entity named Lucifer. Not really.
OK, now wait a minute before you start dragging out the pitchforks and ready me for steak tartar.
I am sure that, through the course of this episode, I may offend some of you, my dear listeners, and that’s not my intention at all.
But facts are facts, and one has to deal with the facts as they stand.
Hopefully you’re willing to hear me out here, and let me give you the information you need to hear.
Let me take you back to a simpler time. A happier time. At least, for the Catholic Church.
They were just coming into their power. It was the year 382AD. Pope Damasus I sat on the golden throne (although, at that time, it wasn’t gold and it wasn’t a throne. They didn’t have all their money flowing by that point. Yet.)
A man, a monk, named Jerome (later sainted) was given the command by the pope to create a new version of the Bible. It was, at that time, known as the Vetus Latina, or Old Latin, translation.
The Old Latin translation was widely used, but there were so many other translations flying around at that time (After all, it was only 60 or so years after the Council of Nicea, where the Bible as we know it today was decided upon).
The church wanted to have a singular translation, one that would be acceptable by the masses and the church at large, and would, eventually, become the only translation accepted by the Catholic Curch. The Verio Vulgata, or, simply the Vulgate. Roughly translated, it means the version commonly used.
It started off with translating from the Old Latin and the Septuagint, and by the time it was all said and done, he had translated everything into this new Latin version, taking sources from the Hebrew bible (the Old Testament) and different translations of the rest of the texts.
It was a pretty good feat, all things considered, and was a pretty major undertaking.
Smart guy, he.
There is, however, one glaring problem.
The Lucifer problem.
Here’s where it starts…
“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”
Ahh yes. Lucifer.
What a great and horrible beast this demonic entity must be!
You see, those that have come out with saying, “Oh this great devil, this satan, tis Lucifer! He is out to get us all! He is bringing sin and death and destruction to us all!”
They say, “Beware, children! BE GOOD! Obey the rules or Lucifer will come in the night and take your soul!”
“He is waiting for you in the pit! He will flay your soul for eternity! RECIEVE JESUS and save your soul from damnation at the hands of Satan, of Lucifer and his demonic fallen angels!”
I grew up in a Baptist church. Trust me, I know the hellfire and brimstone preaching way.
But let’s take that verse in a little bit of context, shall we?
For ease of listening, I will read from the NIV translation of the Bible, but you’ll get the point.
Isaiah 14, starting at verse 3 (and remember, verse 12 is the Lucifer part…)
On the day the Lord gives you relief from your suffering and turmoil and from the harsh labor forced on you, 4you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:
How the oppressor has come to an end!
How his furya has ended!
5The Lord has broken the rod of the wicked,
the scepter of the rulers,
6which in anger struck down peoples
with unceasing blows,
and in fury subdued nations
with relentless aggression.
7All the lands are at rest and at peace;
they break into singing.
8Even the junipers and the cedars of Lebanon
gloat over you and say,
“Now that you have been laid low,
no one comes to cut us down.”
9The realm of the dead below is all astir
to meet you at your coming;
it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you—
all those who were leaders in the world;
it makes them rise from their thrones—
all those who were kings over the nations.
10They will all respond,
they will say to you,
“You also have become weak, as we are;
you have become like us.”
11All your pomp has been brought down to the grave,
along with the noise of your harps;
maggots are spread out beneath you
and worms cover you.
12How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
13You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to the heavens;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.b
14I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”
15But you are brought down to the realm of the dead,
to the depths of the pit.
18All the kings of the nations lie in state,
each in his own tomb.
19But you are cast out of your tomb
like a rejected branch;
you are covered with the slain,
with those pierced by the sword,
those who descend to the stones of the pit.
Like a corpse trampled underfoot,
20you will not join them in burial,
for you have destroyed your land
and killed your people.
Go back and listen a bit if you need to get it clearly though.
The context of the verse clearly shows that what is being referred to is a man, specifically the King of Babylon, the king that had kept the Jews in captivity for years.
Isaiah was not talking about some fallen angel from heaven, cast out by god for wanting to be like him, nor was he the snake in the garden as some people try to calim.
No. The prophet is clearly speaking about a specific person, in a specific place, at a specific time.
Now, how could this have happened? How have we come to see things as some mythological figure out to get us all?
It started, because Jerome made a mistake.
When translating that specific verse, Isaiah 14:12… The word Lucifer was given a proper name status.
In other words, until that moment in time, there was no concept of some evil entity out to get everyone. There was no concept of some fallen angel out to doom mankind with his lies and betrayals.
Until that moment in time, Lucifer did not exist.
Think about this…
Hebrews, whom this message was written for, by Isaiah, had no concept of a being called Lucifer.
And, despite what some may claim, they had no real concept of a Devil named Satan, either.
Satan, the word, is derived from the Hebrew satan, which means “adversary.” Sometimes, it would be “ha-satan” which means, literally, “the Adversary.”
The word would be used any time there was an adversary involved with you.
In other words, if someone stood against you on something, they were satan. they were the adversary.
Even God is referred to multiple times in the Old Testament as satan, because he stood in adversarial-ship against people or nations.
And yet, now, we have this entity, this being, that is called Satan or the Devil or Lucifer, and we have a world of trouble on our hands because of it.
How many people through history have been killed, destroyed, had everything taken away from them, because of being accused of being in league with Satan?
How many children are born right now and raised in abject misery because they are fearful, oppressed and berated about Lucifer and Satan?
So much meaningless death and despair, all because people translated something wrong, and others ran with it and made up this whole stupid business.
And we laugh at those people in the ancient days that worshiped all those different gods, sacrificed animals and children to them to appease them, gave awayy their lives in servitude to those that demanded it.
We laugh at them, and wonder how they could have ever fallen into such a stupid trap, or behave so idiotically.
Then we look around and see millions of people doing it right…. this… moment.
want something else added to all of this?
Jesus was referred to as the Morning Star, too.
How about this…
2 Peter 1:19
Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place–until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts.
Clearly, talking about Christ, and yet the exact same wording was being used to talk about him and Lucifer.
The word Lucifer is also used at least 4 more times throughout the Latin Vulgate, but it is clearly not referencing some fallen angel in those contexts, either.
The problem was perpetuated when the King James Version was published.
Unlike any other translations, the KJV still give s Lucifer proper name status in that Isaiah verse, and in no other translation does it appear like that. In all of those, it’s properly translated as “morning star”, “Light of the morning,” etc.
Folks, this is some seriously dark age mentality going on with all of this.
We have GOT to move past this stuff, so that we can stop being deceived and get to the real heart of issues.
The dark masters, those ones that are in control of things, they love the fact that people ascribe all of the evils that go on to this being Lucifer. Heck, they PERPETUATE the mythos, by setting up institutions like the Lucifer Society, the Satanic cult, the Lucifer Trust, on and on and on.
Seriously. Know the truth.
if you have heard this, and you do your research and you come to understand for yourself that what i am saying here is the reality of the situation, you will be able to see right through the crap that gets spewed out of the mouths of some people.
You can hear someone talking about “Jesus told me that Lucifer is rising to power, and we have to stand strong against him!” If you hear things like that, you instantly know it’s a falsehood. Lucifer does not exist.
And, if you want to cover your ears and “lalala” as you say, that stupid line about “The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist,” that is fine.
That is your right to do so. But did you know where that line comes from? From a movie, called The Usual Suspects.
Not some great, profound thinker of the renaissance era, not some wonderful preacher that spoke words of wisdom and peace.
Nope. It was Kevin Spacey.
Just making sure all the facts get straightened out with all of this.
So much deception.
Lucifer must be laughing his red butt off at it all.
Now, does all of this mean that there aren’t peopel out WITH some kind of s”satanic, evil, agenda”?
Not at all.
People will do as people do. There will always be those around thta try to perpetuate evil and bring us further into darkness.
I understand, just because I know the truth of things and I don’t believe in any of the mythos, doesn’t mean that THEY don”t. I know far better.
There truly are those out with some evil, hell-bent intentions for us all.
But we don’t have to fall into their mythology and get even more confused and NOT see the TRUTH of what they are DOING, does it?>
That’s the point of all of this.
Oh, and, in case you are wondering, what really IS the morning star that is always being referred to?
That’d be Venus.
It has, for almost the entirety of human history, been known as and referred to as the Morning Star.
It also travels through the sky in a pentagram formation.
Hence, the pentagram symbolism you see always assosiated with “lucifer”.
It’s all a riddle, guys.
And you now have the key.
Now all of this does not exclude the possibility of an entity co-opting the name…
There really is so much more to this, but I could go on about it for hours and still not cover it all.
This will make a good starting point, though.
Do your research. Find the truth. You’ll see that it’s a lot deeper, and a lot more mundane, than a lot of people try to say it is.
Stop being afraid of these ancient things, these things that have haunted us for thousands of years.
Stop being caught in the trap that caught up our ancestors. We don’t have to be afraid of the darkness anymore. We’ve moved past that.
Stop believing the lies.
