NEWS:
The 11 million Americans who receive Social Security disability face steep benefit cuts next year, the government said Wednesday, handing lawmakers a fiscal and political crisis in the middle of a presidential campaign.
The trustees who oversee Social Security and Medicare said the disability trust fund will run out of money in late 2016. That would trigger an automatic 19 percent cut in benefits, unless Congress acts.
The average monthly benefit for disabled workers and their families is $1,017. The typical beneficiary would see a reduction of $193 a month.
“Today’s report shows that we must seek meaningful, in some instances even urgent, changes to ensure the program is on stable ground for future generations,” said Jo Ann Jenkins, the chief executive officer of AARP.
In more bad news for beneficiaries, the trustees project there will be no cost-of-living increase in benefits at the end of the year. It would mark only the third year without an increase since automatic adjustments were adopted in 1975.
Separately, about 7 million Medicare beneficiaries could face a monthly premium increase of at least $54 for outpatient coverage. That works out to an increase of more than 50 percent.
The annual report card on the financial health of Social Security and Medicare shows that the federal government’s largest benefit programs are feeling the strain of aging baby boomers as they both approach milestone anniversaries.
The Army has warned its recruiters to treat the gun-toting civilians gathering at centers across the country in the wake of the Chattanooga, Tenn., shooting as a security threat.
Soldiers should avoid anyone standing outside the recruiting centers attempting to offer protection and report them to local law enforcement and the command if they feel threatened, according to a U.S. Army Recruiting Command policy letter issued Monday.
Armed citizens — some associated with activist groups and militias — were standing vigil outside recruiting centers in Wisconsin, Georgia, Tennessee, Idaho and elsewhere this week, saying they want to provide protection to servicemembers barred from carrying firearms on duty. Four Marines and a sailor were killed by Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, a 24-year-old Kuwait-born native of Tennessee, during an attack Thursday on a strip mall recruiting center and a Navy facility that is being investigated as an act of terrorism.
Abdulazeez fired into the front of the recruiting station but there were no casualties. The five servicemembers were killed during an attack on the Navy Operational Support Center. A Navy officer and a Marine reportedly fired at the gunman, although it is unclear why they were armed. It is against Defense Department policy for anyone other than military police or law enforcement to carry weapons on federal property.
“I’m sure the citizens mean well, but we cannot assume this in every case and we do not want to advocate this behavior,” according to the Army Command Operations Center-Security Division letter, which was authenticated by the service.
“If questioned by these alleged concerned citizens, be polite, professional and terminate the conversation immediately and report the incident to local law enforcement …,” the command advised.
http://govtslaves.info/senators-given-under-60-minutes-to-read-1000-page-bill-beforevote/
U.S. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) gave America a disturbing look at what happens behind-the-scenes in the legislature. While a printer worked furiously behind him, Lee explained how the Senate was just given under 1 hour to read and comprehend a massive spending bill before the scheduled vote.
LEE: We received this bill at 3:07 p.m. The bill is 1,033 pages long. We’re being called on to vote on it at 4 o’clock. We’re only up to about page 500 in printing it off. I’m pretty sure that its going to be hard to read the whole bill in its entirety and understand it in the roughly 30 minutes between now and when we have to vote on the bill.
“If I don’t have time to read legislation before voting on it, my default vote is no,” Senator Lee commented on his video. That’s a principle endorsed by Police State USA in a 2013 article, A Pro-Liberty Approach to Lawmaking.
Responsibility for the rush-to-vote ultimately lies with the Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell (R-KY). McConnell reportedly had just reached a deal with Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) on six years of federal spending and wanted to ram it through with little debate and no amendments. The schedule made it sot that effectively no one aside from the authors would know for sure what was buried in the massive bill.
It goes without saying that if the Senators themselves don’t have a chance to read a bill, then neither does the voting public have a chance to analyze it and give feedback to their representatives. The very idea of voting on bills without debate is undemocratic and incompatible with a free society.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have seen egregious abuse of power from majority leaders. Last session, House leader John Boehner successfully pushed through a federal gun-ban with only 10 (out of 435) members present!
Fortunately, McConnell’s treacherous maneuver was unsuccessful, this time. Riled opponents rejected a motion to begin debate, 41-56.
I try to write about natural health and food safety issues without putting my personal life into them too often, but we all know our personal views can influence us. I’m going to tell you how upset I am by the CDC’s declaration that mothers should delay breastfeeding to boost vaccine efficacy.
Here it is – I know not everyone agrees about vaccines, and that’s O.K. But what isn’t O.K. is when a government agency meant to prevent the spread of disease (well, at least that’s what they say openly) tells mothers to stop doing one thing that has mountains of evidence behind it to prove that it is not only beneficial, but vital to an infant’s health.
When you think the CDC might be corrupt, as evidenced from recent whistle-blowing facts, you don’t always realize just how deep and dark that corruption truly can be. The news that not one, but ten researchers from the CDC’s National Centers for Immunization and Respiratory Disease (NCIRD) released a paper arguing that because the immune-boosting effects of breastmilk inhibit the effects of the live oral rotavirus vaccine, nursing mothers should delay breastfeeding their infants is stupefying.
Although this paper does not recommend that mothers stop breastfeeding, it does advise them to delay nursing at the time that the vaccine is administered. At least there isn’t advice to stop breastfeeding completely.
In a seemingly weak attempt to remain scientifically unbiased, the researchers do point out that there are other ways for boosting a vaccine’s efficacy.
The researchers make the most ignominious admittance that:
- Breastmilk counters the live vaccine, they’ve shown that breastmilk counters the virus.
- When a baby’s body is fighting the live vaccine virus, it means they are fighting the virus itself. Proof, yet again that the human immune system, when supported through natural means like breastfeeding, is expert at defending itself.
If the CDC were not beholden to big pharmaceutical companies, who make billions off of unproven, unnecessary vaccines every year, then they would never be telling women to stop giving their babies immune-boosting breastmilk.

The CDC should be encouraging mothers to breastfeed, not telling them to stop so that their children can be given vaccines full of questionable adjuvants, and some that have been proven, by yet other whistle-blowers like Pfizer’s president who says that vaccines don’t work – to contain many health damaging ingredients.
This also means that the CDC’s researchers are assuming that the vaccine is better for the baby than breastfeeding. They’re assuming that the vaccine is safe.
